Another variation replaces one or both San Francisco’s with Berlin’s for more anti-ship at the loss of bulk landing capacity.


I quite like that, though it feels like it has far too little drop for my tastes. San Fran's are incredibly delicate, and whilst I think one is a good move, relying on two is going to be more difficult. I'd probably drop one, and replace it with 3 New Orleans, which gives you 7 of them which is a good number.

You will struggle when "bidding" as it were for initiative, as you will end up finding your sanitagos roam further afield than keeping close to your San Frans, but that may not be an issue for you.

Yeah, I’m not real impressed with the San Fran’s.
